Lazada – recommended for household items, small furniture, electronics
The prices are competitive, and most importantly, delivery is FREE (make sure you select the correct delivery mode). For certain days and different credit cards/banks, they will also have special tie-ups, offering further discounts.
Lazada also has tie-up with Taobao (very popular shopping platform from China), and you are able to find very cheap items, but delivery will take longer than usual, still worth a look if you are buying bulk and able to wait for delivery as the savings can be attractive.
Redmart – Groceries
Going to the supermarket can be a chore, especially if you need to carry home bags of bulky items. Redmart will deliver the groceries to your house, and you can specify the date/time slot you prefer. Prices are competitive and similar to brick-and-mortar supermarkets, they also have SALE items.
Using LiveUP program (by Lazada & Redmart) – you can enjoy benefits such as 10% rebate and faster delivery
PageAdvisor – useful for maintenance, repair works
If you encounter difficulty in using the App, there is also a “concierge” team to assist you. The contractors will offer a quote based on your description of the problem, and payment is made directly to PageAdvisor (who will then release the payment after the job is completed), and they offer 100% money back guarantee.
Worthy mention – Carousell
It’s a mobile app (with website) that allows for individual consumers to buy/sell (trade) products. Mostly 2nd hand “pre-loved” items are available here. You can use this to sell away some old items so you have less things to move (also good for environment).
