We just received a new HDB flat/house listing for sale. Our evaluation tells us that this house is suitable for Young & Old couples.
This is a 4A model HDB flat located near Tiong Bahru MRT (and the newly revamped Tiong Bahru Plaza).
Main door faces Southwards (out) <- key info for those who are interested in fengshui.
The flat has been renovated by the first owner, with wood style laminate and large tiles flooring. The kitchen area is a good, comfortable size (can fit wife and mother, not that we are recommending, just sayin’) and the yard area enjoys more privacy (harder to peep in from corridor area).
What’s inside the house?
Air conditioners have been installed in all bedrooms and living room.
Storage cabinets are aplenty throughout the house; in the living, entrance, kitchen and bedrooms. If there’s not enough storage, you have a household shelter. If there’s still not enough storage, you also have a full room-sized walk-in wardrobe (re-configured from original layout).
If there’s STILL not enough space, you may have to consider buying a warehouse instead of a house.
Both the master bedroom and kitchen have attached bathrooms (both large enough for showering, and all the other usual stuff … that you do in a toilet).
This block “26B” is located further away from the main road, so there’s less traffic noise, but you may hear excited basketball players sometimes, because there’s a basketball court below the block. #NBArightatyourdoorsteplah
So So So Convenient!
Being located in between 3 main roads (Tiong Bahru Road, Lower Delta Road & Jalan Bukit Merah) also means more bus stops and bus services plying through (instead of having to wait for just one feeder service, which we all know … zzz).
Grocery and coffee shops are located just below this series of flats, and hip cafes are not far away too (some say “hidden gem”, you need to find it yourself)
The future home owner also enjoys covered car park space that has covered walkway to the lift (machiam condo siah), especially convenient during sunny/rainy days. Incidentally, in Singapore, we only have these 2 days — Rainy days and Sunny days … okay, maybe also hazy days sometimes.
Short drive away – Vivocity, Mt Faber, SGH, CTE & AYE, CBD, Chinatown, etc
Why Young & Old couples?
This house is most suited for young couples & old couples (kids already grown up and married with their own house). The location offers LOADS of convenience for the home owners and the smaller size (as compared to older 4room model flats) means less time needed for cleaning => more time available for exploring and cafe-hopping #YOLO
